This rectangular fragment of dark purple twill damask has a geometric pattern, repeated 7 cm in the warp direction. The same weave structure and pattern are also found on two other textiles MAS.937 and LOANSTEIN.387. Weave structure 4-4 patterning weave for pattern on 1/1 plain weave for foundation.
