The willows move in the wind; the buffalo stand peacefully; the children play congenially. A rural scene of summer sunlight, the painting achieves a rare degree of life and vitality and is executed in an elegant and refined technique. It bears the seals "I-chou chen-ts'ang", indicating that it was in the collection of An Ch'i during the 18th century.
