收藏着录： 故宫书画录（卷六），第四册，页113-114 收藏着录： 故宫书画图录，第二十三册，页374-377 内容简介（中文）： 王翬（西元一六三二－一七一七年），江苏常熟人。字石谷，号耕烟散人。画山水先后得王鑑、王时敏指授，对古画之鑑赏及临摹均极见功力，画技之精熟被誉为清代第一，与王时敏、王鑑、王原祁合称「四王」。 本册共十二幅，分别仿自宋元名家，此次选展三幅，籤题各为「董北苑夏木垂阴」、「李营丘雪图」、「许道宁乔林暮霭」，画法俱不相同，可据以体会三家之风格特质。(20121016) 内容简介（英文）： Wang Hui (style name Shigu, sobriquet Gengyan sanren), a native of Changshu in Jiangsu, studied landscape painting under Wang Jian and then Wang Shimin, being exceptionally gifted at connoisseurship and copying ancient paintings. He is recognized as the most skilled painter of the Qing, being known with Wang Shimin, Wang Jian, and Wang Yuanqi as one of the “Four Wangs.” This album of 12 leaves imitates styles of various ancient masters. Three have been selected here: “‘Shady Trees in a Summer Landscape’ by Dong Beiyuan (Yuan),” “‘Snowy Landscape’ by Li Yingqiu (Cheng),” and “‘Tall Trees in Evening Mist’ by Xu Daoning.” The painting methods all differ, indicating that he followed the stylistic features of these three artists.(20121016)
