收藏着录： 石渠宝笈三编（御书房），第七册，页3190 收藏着录： 故宫书画录（卷八），第四册，页113 收藏着录： 故宫书画图录，第十二册，页199-200 内容简介（中文）： 钱维城（西元一七二○－一七七二年），江苏武进人。字宗磐，号茶山。乾隆十年（一七四五）状元，官至刑部侍郎。早年曾随族祖母陈书学画花卉，后亦画山水，师法元代王蒙和清初王原祁，并得董邦达指导，为当时宫中画苑领袖。 本幅以意笔写奇石风竹，并搭配鸡冠花和雏菊。钱维城画花卉多数带有宫廷绘画工细富丽的特质，此作笔墨雅淡，呈显出文人画的气息，于钱氏作品中较为少见。(20121016) 内容简介（英文）： Qian Weicheng (style name Zongpan, sobriquet Chashan), a native of Wujin in Jiangsu, was a first-place Presented Scholar in 1745 and rose to Minister of Justice. In early years he studied flower painting with his grandmother, Chen Shu, later also turning to landscape painting, following the styles of Wang Meng of the Yuan and Wang Yuanqi of the early Qing. He also was taught by Dong Bangda, becoming a leading court painter. This work in sketchy brushwork depicts a decorative rock and bamboo in the wind with cockscomb and chrysanthemum blossoms. Most of Qian’s flowers feature the delicate beauty of court painting, but this work has light and elegant brushwork instead, revealing a literati air that is rare among his surviving works.(20121016).jpg!w300?_upt=b9ae7ab51769442394)
